Submission Rules
Rules for each medium
Creative/Prose/Nonfiction: max of 3000 words
Poetry: No line limit
Artwork: All mediums and sizes are accepted
Photography: No complete nudity
Can I simultaneously submit my work?
You can simultaneously submit your work, however, if it gets accepted elsewhere please email us ASAP.
Rights
By submitting to Return To, If Lost Magazine, you agree to grant us First North American Serial Rights, should your work be accepted. Upon publication, rights are immediately reverted back to you. You're encouraged to publish your work elsewhere but we ask you credit Return To, If Lost Magazine as the first place of publication.
Can I submit previously published work?
Yes you can submit previously published work if you have permission to do so. When submitting previously published work please let us know where it was first published.
Fees & Payment
As we are a free magazine run by volunteers we unfortunately at this moment cannot pay you but this also means there is no fee to enter and read our magazine!
How many pieces can I submit?
You can submit up to 5 pieces per issue and these can be all one medium or a mix of multiple mediums.
Formating
You are free to format your submission how you please (please note that the format may change in the final magazine Issue) but we ask you to upload your submission/s so that all our editors with access to the Submission Form can view your work (a pdf is great).
